FODEN SCORES FIRST LEAGUE GOAL
England international Phil Foden scored his first goal of the new Premier League campaign during the 4-0 victory over newly promoted side Bournemouth. Foden scored one of the goals on the way to a big win over the Cherries.

German international IlkayGundogan scored twice as a substitute during the 3-2 comeback home win over Aston Villa on the final day of the season. Manchester City were able to retain their Premier League title last season as a result of the victory over Villa. Gundogan made it three goals in two home games on the Premier League scene when he scored the opener against Bournemouth. His goal against the Cherries arrived a few minutes before the midway point of the first half. Kevin De Bruyne was the best player on the pitch for Manchester Cityand he doubled the advantage for his teamshortly after the half-hour mark.
De Bruyne also provided the goal scored by Foden six minutes after his own goal. City sealed the big win over Bournemouth in the second half when Jefferson Lerma put through his own net off the cross from Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo.
Manchester City have started the season well in their quest to become only the second team to win three straight Premier League titles. They are at the top of the table on goal difference at the moment.
